Dr. Subramanian is an excellent doctor. I have complete confidence in him. I had open heart surgery, which is scary to say the least. He took the time to explain everything that was happening with me and exactly what would be going on during the surgery.
100% would recommend Dr. Subramanian. Very thorough, open, and gives a good review of what was going to occur. He helps answer questions before you ask or not know what to ask. Good personality and his concerns were very genuine. He can simply what is about to happen so you and your family know what is going on. Would recommend him to anyone needing heart surgery. There are doctors and then there are "doctors". He is the real deal.
I consulted with Dr Subramanian regarding valve replacement and he was awesome! He not only takes time to make sure you understand the issue and the procedure (and really loved that he used visuals...made such a huge difference), but he truly listened to our questions and concerns. I have complete confidence in his abilities and look forward to him performing my surgery.
Dr. Subramanian took the time to explain the different surgical options for over an hour. His philosophy of only doing a procedure on a patient that he would do on a family member really hit home. I would definitely not only recommend him to a family member, I would definitely go back to him again if I had an issue. Nashville is lucky to have a surgeon like Dr. Subramanian.
My family and I are very pleased with Dr. Subramanian. He explained what was going to happen and clearly explained my choices in the procedure. He always took time to answer our questions. Tests were taken promptly and explained promptly.
Dr. Subramanian worked to put me into the middle of his existing surgery schedule. My situation was urgent and he was very kind and responsive to what was an anxiety producing, surprising diagnosis. His calm demeanor and willingness to explain the range of options before me was reassuring. My wait time was a little longer, but only because he was squeezing a consultation with me into an existing full surgical schedule.
