Dr. Subramanian saved my 75-year-old father's life. He had a massive heart attack resulting in a post-infarction VSD (hole in the heart), was given a 50/50 survival chance. That was 2 weeks ago. He was referred directly to Dr. Subramanian, who took him from that 50/50 chance, through a very rare and complicated surgery involving simultaneous patching of the hole and a triple bypass, to the point he is at right now - walking around on his own at home and planning on returning to playing the piano at church next week. Dr. Subramanian was my surgeon to repair the mitral valve in my heart. It turned out to be more damaged than originally thought, but his expertise made it possible to repair it, and avoided having to insert another valve. He is extremely qualified and very caring. He explained everything about the procedure and answered any questions I had. I was very glad to have him perform the surgery, and only stayed in the hospital for 3 days.

I love him! He is everything a doctor should be - so very skilled with a total understanding of my medical condition; compassionate; actively listens to patients with obvious concern and communicates at an understandable level. Under his care I recently had heart surgery that could not have gone more smoothly and the recovery is equally problem free. As it goes with surgeons, I will soon be released from his care, hopefully not to be seen again, but will miss this amazing doctor.
Very nervous about my heart condition - but Dr. Subramanian and all the staff there are all really helpful and patient. Put you at ease immediately and do a lot of listening, and don't try to rush you out of there taking as much time to answer ANY questions or concerns that I had. Super Subramanian and Super Staff!
Very friendly, very knowledgeable, was never in a hurry, covered everything in detail.
I trusted this man with my life and despite what has happened I not only would trust him with it again I know I will need another and couldn't consider anyone else. This is a good surgeon and good man.
