My 91 year old mother had to have extensive dental X-rays before this practice would “clean” her teeth - I paid for that and other “procedures” to follow their rules and now I’m trying to get my mothers teeth cleaned and they won’t do it without more X-rays - my mother cannot tolerate more X-rays so they can charge more money This is A SCAM - this dental practice should be investigated for their extortion practices I was treated so poorly by the receptionist who hung up on me This type of extortion needs to be regulated and... read more

This was my first visit to Morro Bay Family Dentistry but my son has been here for a couple years now and his always spoke highly Of their overall performance. Very warm, welcoming lots of friendly staff members. My appointment timing was very efficient. The office itself was very clean and the parking lot had lots of parking. Angie, the Dental hygienist was very personable professional, precise, and gentle. I already rescheduled my next visit.
My experience here with Dr. Ratchford and the team was the first time I felt like I was receiving actual healthcare. No judgement and no pushy sales. Each staff member is incredibly skilled in their profession (seriously, the best hygienist in the US is here).
