I was a patient of Dr. B's for over 4 years. In that time, I was always on time, never missed an appointment, and complied with any changes to their practices, care, and paperwork. In May of this year, I lost my mom, and have been struggling more that usual. The doc was very aware of this. He is the mos influential psychiatrist in my life and has helped me after giving up on every type of psychiatric help - therapists, mental facilities, hospitals, etc. He has been my savior.
Really unprofessional office staff and doctor. Disappointing since I believed all the reviews before going to this doctor’s office. I’ve been to him several times but he makes me feel very uncomfortable and his secretarial staff are horrible. I’d highly advise anyone wanting good support for their mental health to stay away from this psychiatrist and his office at all costs. Will not be recommending him to anyone who needs help with their mental health now or in the future.
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. I set up an appointment and they fit me in for 9:30AM. I sent the receptionist a message to the doctor expressing my goals for psychiatry (wanting to fix my major depression, the constant anxiety, constant racing thoughts, passing classes next semester). I spend an hour filling out 10 forms. Then on day of appointment, it's 9:30AM and NO ONE calls me..? Surprisingly poor experience. I've never met such a pessimistic medical professional. After paying for the consultation, I was told that he could not help me, and instead he referred me to other services. He made me feel like a broken individual who was too difficult of a case for him to even touch with a ten foot pole. This visit made me question my own sanity, lose confidence, and increased feelings of self doubt. Dr. Bircea is a thoughtful, intelligent psychiatrist that truly listens to your needs and puts you at the center of care. Highly recommend.
The receptionist was very rude and unprofessional. I will never see a Dr. with such unprofessional staff. No likelihood of recommendation.
