One of the best doctors in thousand oaks
She cares for both my mom and dad in their 90s. I think she is patient and understanding. She is VERY busy, so you usually have to wait 20 mins for your apt. They don't have any automation, so its an old fashion paper and phone calls system. There are few geriatric specialists in the Conejo area. She knows her stuff, just a very busy office. Her nurse is amazing and always returns our calls, albeit it may take 48 hours (they are closed on Wednesdays)
Sent my wife there because she advertises GERIATRIC MEDICINE. She is an internist. TOTALLY mistreated my wife. Never addressed my wife's insomnia but constantly ordered tests that had nothing to do with her insomnia . Would not recommend her ever
Dr. Sonia Monga has cared for both my elderly parents since 2016. In addition to having a vast knowledge of geriatric care, she is compassionate and patient. The nurses who assist her are top notch - as a team they work to keep all our other doctors (nephrologist, urologist, cardiologist, etc) informed and up to date.
Zero follow up. My mother is a patient. Messages left go unanswered and there is no follow through on forwarding paperwork to additional providers that is needed pre-procedure.
