Collecting SSN for people with active insurance is not acceptable! You SUCK!
When I called the very nice lady on the phone asked me for my SSN. I was informed this is in order to be able to send people to collections if they had no insurance. I provided my insurance and was told I can't book an appointment without providing my SSN regardless of that fact. Afterwards she informed me that no matter what there's a $20 covid sanitation charge. I decided to change dentists immediately and the other 2 dentist's offices I called did not have this charge.
