My son has been going to Jules Stein since he was 3 years old due to a genetic disorder which affects his eye vision. Initially, we saw Dr. Demer, but in 2017, Dr. Fung was introduced to us by Dr. Demer to take over my son’s vision care. We have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Fung. I consider Dr. Fung one of my heroes. My son (7 at the time) had an accident with a dart that damaged his lens of his eye. We struggled finding a doctor with treating eye trauma in such a young patient. Every eye surgeon told us pediatric eye trauma was not their thing/specialty. We were fortunate someone directed us to Dr. Fung. As soon as Dr. Fung saw my son, he was confident that he could treat/fix the problem. Dr. Fung is a rare find! He is an exceptional doctor, humble, caring, and very skilled at his profession. He brought me through some rough times with an eye disease, helped to cure me and prepare me for cataract surgeries, both eyes! I am so grateful to have found him. I am elated to have such most excellent service from such a great and fine Ophthalmogist as Dr Fung. I find him to be extremely compassionate and patient (I have additionally poor hearing) and he always ascertains that I understand procedures and instructions well. He's a true blessing.
