I had a terrible experience with Total Spine. I waited two weeks for my appointment, during which I had two ER visits due to some of the worst pain I’ve ever experienced. When the appointment day finally came, I drove an hour and arrived at 10:00 a.m., only to be told my appointment had been rescheduled. Stay away from Mattie, he rather go on vacation than deal with his patients who are in severe pain. Wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy.
This place should be called “time wasting management”. My husband has severe cervical and lumber pain due to disc bulges, waited two weeks for an appointment with Ryan Mattie MD. Was given an appointment for 8/6 at 10A. Appointment date came drove all the way from Castaic just to be told they re-scheduled him to 8/8. No one ever called or text to inform him. I had an appointment with Dr. Lawandy today, he made a really great impression on me. All I can say is he’s honest, very kind, and compassionate about his care towards his patients and you can easily sense that right away. He took his time to listen to my concerns and didn’t rush me at all. I want to personally thank him again for the reassurance about my particular situation. I would highly recommend Dr. Lawandy to anyone in need of spine care! God bless.
