Honestly she does not call parents back at all. You cannot get a hold of her at any given time and she is very black and white even thought diabetes is not black and white, different bodies do different things. Worse doctor to work with if your kid does not react as the normal population of kids. We do what she says and my son still all over the place plus doctor of 3 years had us more stable and all the changes she made has made my son get worse rather than better. not even one star worth.
Endocrinologists specifically the pediatric ones we’ve seen seem to have the same downfalls. No callbacks, going M.I.A when the pharmacy needs clarity for a prescription, making school medical plans that are not helpful, not educating themselves on how all carbs are not created equal, how to address fats and proteins, etc etc. unfortunately this dr falls into all those downfalls as well. I don’t even mind a longer wait, but when it comes at the expense of sub par care, then that’s where the problem lies.
Very caring doctor. She saved a life and took care of my family for ten years.
