I saw her as a patent until I aged out at 20. She never caught on to the fact that I am ASTHMATIC. For over 10 years!!! I repeatedly complained about the fact that I was unable to breathe during physical activity. According to her, the problem was actually that I was overweight (by 5lbs) and out of shape and just needed to be more active? I literally just needed an albuterol prescription. I still remember the first time I used an inhaler at 21 and going “oh my gosh is THIS how everyone’s been breathing the whole time?” I jus... read more

Did not listen when I was concerned my daughter had autism at age 3. Well guess what? She is now eight, and she is diagnosed with autism and ADHD. Thought you should know that if you had listened to the parent, you could have actually helped my daughter. Her diagnosis was delayed five years thanks to a long string of doctors who don't listen to the parent's concerns. Any repetitive movement should be taken incredibly seriously.

Dr. Rinker showed true compassion and knowledgeable care. I'm very grateful for the concern and follow up shown by Dr. Rinker. Thank you to her, the physician assistants, nurses and front desk, all of whom are always friendly and kind at Harborside Pediatrics.

I love Dr Rinkers office! I bring my kids to see her and all of her amazing Nurse Practitioners! The clinical staff is outstanding! They are always busy, but find the time to give 100% to each and every patient. The front desk is friendly and helpful everytime I call. My kids get excited everytime nurse Jenn calls them back to the exam room.

I have recommended Dr. Rinker to all my friends and family! She goes above and beyond when meeting with young patients. Making appoints are easy and the front office staff is wonderful. Office is always clean as are the rooms. Her PAs, nurses and all staff make all young patients feel at ease. Dr. Rinker for one took wonderful care of my son who was diagnosed with a blood disorder and she send him to a specialist who confirmed Dr. Rinkers doubts of his diagnosis. He is not have it. Best Dr.

My name is Cynthia Sapp and I want to share the incredible experience we had with Dr. Rinker. She was my childrens' pediatrician for 18 years until they left for college. Dr. Rinker is extremely intelligent and always takes the time to determine accurate diagnosis and treatment. My daughter had a serious health scare at 16, and Dr. Rinker went well beyond the call of duty to care for her. She is a gifted clinician who builds a warm rapport with families. Highly recommend!

My kids and I love Dr. Rinker! She's always happy and interacts with my boys, asking them questions instead of just asking me. The few times they've been sick, we've been able to get a same day appointment, and I always leave feeling well taken care of. She knows what she's talking about, and if I ever do have a question later on, she responds relatively quickly. My friends and I have taken our kids to her for years. We love Dr. Rinker!!!

If you want to go to a doctor that wants to do what specialists do then go here. She's not a dermatologist, psychiatrist, psychologist, and so on. She charges you for things that shouldn't be in the realm of PCP. So beware. Have had wrong diagnosis and have paid the price. She is more about what she can make versus the concern of the patient. It's also hard to get an appointment because she's not always in the office. So if you want to be put in with the nurse you'll be able to get in.
