Dr Milam's staff is awful. They are poorly organized, rude and completely unfit to be a part of the healthcare field. After waiting nearly 1 and 1/2 hrs for the first appt of the day (schedule because I waited 1hr at a previous appt) Dr Milam told me that she had overslept and rushed me through my appt since she was "backed up" I was appauled and will never go back.
Recommended by family physician for treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome and excessive hairiness. Dr. Milam recommended laser treatment, would only be 5-6 treatments to PERMANENTLY remove hair (her words). When calling to find out qualifications and procedures, I was told that the laser treatment would be administered by Dr. Milam and a nurse trained in laser hair removal, Not once was Dr. Milam present during the procedures which were administered by Rachel, an undertrained, inexperienced and unprofessional technician. ... read more
I gave seen Dr. Milam since 2002, and I love seeing her. She is great! She's very empathetic and goes out of her way to help you. She is one of the best doctors I have ever had.
Have seen Dr. Milam for about 5 years. I LOVE Dr. Milam. She is a great, empathetic listener. She did a careful exam. She was very professional. I like this doctor more than any that I have ever seen. I feel complete trust in her. All of my female friends feel the same.
She was more concerned about my private life than doing my annual, upon which was very uncomfortable. She didn't listen to what I had to say, and was more concerned about writing me a prescription. I won't be going back to her. That was my worst, and most painful gyn visit ever!
