After taking my heart rate, Dr Powell said "there's nothing wrong with your heart but I'll send you to get tests anyway" & then he got up and left! The whole meeting took about 3 mins! Later I rec'd an e-m from WWMC w/a survey about my experience. I said I felt like a number and not a human. During the week prior to test I rec'd a couple of calls from dr's office but no messages. Dr. Riggenbach really listens and takes his time with me. He's very thorough and has a nice bedside manner.
Dr. Hansen is always punctual with appt. times. He listens to and addresses my needs and concerns and makes sure I am up to date with screenings and etc. Great Doctor!
I am very lucky to have Dr Riggenbach as he found a polyp in my upper intestine that was enormous and needed to be removed or it could have turned into cancer He recommended UAB to do that . Highly recommend!!
BEWARE Poorest communication skills you’ll experience. Best stay away from SHAWN HUGES and White Wilson Medical Center.
Dr Abrasley is awesome! He has great bedside manner, is caring, professional and compassionate. We have been trying to get my meds right he always takes the time to listen to my symptoms and how I’m feeling before making any suggestions. The office staff is very personable and professional!
I waited an hour past my first appointment time before seeing him and he gave me about 5 minutes of his time. Did not take a history (and was obvious he did not read the history I filled out on paperwork). Did not listen when I tried speaking. He was rude and condescending. Very disappointing.
I have been a patient of Dr Abraisley for many years. I have not needed to see him for a number of years but when I called for an appointment today I was told that I would need to get referrals. The receptionist was completely rude. I have no complaints with the doctor but if his staff is obnoxious to the point of denying appointments then there is no need.
Dr. Hansen is a very nice guy. Just lately it doesn’t seem he’s really doing anything for me medically. I tell him about my ear or side hurting and he looks at it but blows it off. Maybe it’s White Wilson, I don’t know but I need to find a new doctor
