I saw Dr. Amaya for the first time and she is very kind and listens to you and explains what she is doing. I liked her immediately and appreciate her manner.
Dr. Amaya delivered most of my grandchildren (including a set of twins ??). She was wonderful. In addition, she takes great care of older women’s gynecological issues. She has improved my health and helped me navigate the “wonderful” world of menopause with an innate sense of kindness and understanding that I have found nowhere else. I cannot praise her enough. She is a gift to women.
Dr Amaya is phenomenal! I switched to her in my 3rd trimester and only wished I'd done so sooner. The Centering program she leads is remarkable and her bedside manner can't be beat. She lead us graciously and peacefully through some small complications my body had after delivery, none were the fault of any of the staff at Self. I appreciated her comforting spirit during those times. Her sincere joy at our newest blessing was refreshing as well. Best OB in GWD!!
