I had visited two separate oncologists in town before getting in to see Dr Smiley and the team at Katmai Oncology. How refreshing it was to finally feel like I was being listened to by a Doctor who genuinely wanted to help and address our concerns. Our visits have been informative and encouraging and that’s meaningful when you’re dealing with any cancer diagnosis. My family member has had positive results with Dr. Smiley.
Non communicative, did basically the bare minimum for 2 years, seen only 3 times by Dr. Smiley, then sent my father home to die. Something that should have been easily dealt with now has little hope. Does not know how to read scans, does not work with a team for best care. If you want a fighting chance to live, don't go here.
