I have seen Dr Davis for three surgeries and he has been excellent in his care for me. He never once "pushed" me toward surgery. He takes his time, listens to my concerns and has patiently answered every question I have. He performed a very successful rhinoplasty and turbinectomy on me in 2009. I also had thyroid nodules he was monitoring for growth and cancer for more than ten years and he gave guidelines to determine when I might need surg. The path report showed I had thyroid cancer so we discussed my options and he even ... read more

He seems as carefree as Jimmy Buffet when you first meet him but when it comes surgery time he is all business. Great surgeon with a kind and quirky bedside manner.

Dr. Davis repaired my sinuses, multiple polyps, deviations, and malformations from years of allergies and infections. He gave me concise descriptions and instructions on the stages of healing and any other issues I might encounter before and after the surgery. Now some months later, I still have "wide open" nasal breathing, no allergies, and most of all no pain or infections. This doctor does good work.

My spouse was referred to this doctor to address some ear related issues with very specific symptoms. The doctor made light of his symptoms and was unwilling to go any farther with determining a cause or a way to correct things. Then, he began pointing out nose related problems and was ready to book my spouse for surgery. When asked if it would address the issues we came to solve, he said no. I would not recommend seeing him.

Seriously would NOT go to this guy. He will find a reason to perform surgery regardless of your symptoms. His automatic response is surgery, won't even consider other treatment options.

I have had 3 sinus surgeries in the past for reoccurring sinus polyps. My last surgery was with Dr. Davis. What a difference in recovery. By the end of the day of the surgery, I had stopped bleeding. Minimal pain meds needed, easiest recovery I have ever had. Great doctor! There is a long wait anytime I see him though, so be prepared for that. He has me on a steroid rinse and so far no reoccurance (10 months post op), before they came back within weeks. I will continue to see him in the future.

One surgery with this doctor has now become 5 surgeries! After the second surgery with Dr Davis (where he attempted to correct the mistakes from the first surgery), I had a huge perforation in my septum. It's difficult to find a surgeon who will even touch that! We had to drive to Birmingham to have a doctor there fix it. That was a 6 1/2 hr surgery! When I tried to address my concerns to Dr.Davis he would always brush me off. I almost lost my nose. I would NOT recommend this doctor.

Any time I have an appointment, it takes two hours. When I had surgery, he left the surgical center without rewriting my prescription to a pain medicine I could tolerate (despite this info being covered in his office and on the admission paperwork). We had to go to his office the day of the surgery to pick it up. When I picked it up, it had the wrong DOB.

Very unprofessional, rude, hateful beligerient staff with no consumer skills. When I made appointment I was not told I had to fill out papers since I have seen doctor in past nor told I could go on website and complete forms to bring with me. Since forms were not filled out prior to appointment I was told I had to reschedule. I have reported them to my insurance company and I will not return nor refer them.
