My husband had carpal tunnel surgery on one wrist. He was very thorough, told us what to expect, and made sure we fully understood what to expect. He and his medical staff are very professional. We received calls pre- and post operation.
He was going to do surgery even though a blood clot showed up. He wasn't even going to do an ultrasound. He just said, "It should be OK." Who does that? I called my sister in law who was the head of a surgical nursing department and she advised not to have the surgery. Far too dangerous. He also doesn't refer to physical therapy after a knee replacement. Poor practice in both cases.
