I was surprised to find these negative reviews, as my mother's experience with this doctor was quite positive. He was able to diagnose her when other doctors in this town and California could not. Highly recommend.

A rude man, unpleasant man. He has no idea who his patients are or why they're in his exam room. He asks the patient for information that should be in their charts, like the results of their last colonoscopy (that he performed) or lab test (that he ordered). He resents being questioned. His office staff is pleasant but completely disorganized. It takes multiple phone calls to get a prescription called into the pharmacy.

Dr. Wahid did a colonoscopy on me in April of 2015. In the process, he perforated my colon, and I was admitted to the hospital for emergency surgery for repair of perforated colon. This resulted in my staying 9 days in the hospital, 7 of which were in the ICU. If I hadn't had insurance, the bill would have been $23,500 /day for the hospital stay alone. Furthermore, though he sent his assistant, he personally never visited me in the hospital. This doctor doesn't deserve your business.

It was my misfortune and nightmare to have met Dr. Shahid Wahid of Digestive Associates of Las Vegas who unknowingly perforated my stomach in an attempt to remove a small and benign submucosal nodule by EMR (Endoscopic Mucosal Resection) following a EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound) examination. Consequently, I underwent an emergency open-abdomen surgery by a general surgeon to repair the perforation and remove the infections caused by the stomach leakage in April, 2017.

Dr. Wahid is the worst doctor I ever dealt with. He shows no concern for his patients. I was admitted to the hospital and was informed by the nurse that he would be performing a colonoscopy and scope to determine the cause of my abdominal pain. I was only allowed to speak to him 10 seconds before they put me under. Afterwards, 4 hours later, the doctor spoke with me for approximately 30 seconds regarding the results, would not entertain any questions or concerns. Will never go back to him.

After being admitted from the emergency room, it was clear from day one that this doctor doesn't care about what is actually wrong with his patients. 4 days in the hospital and o ly saw him twice for a total of 30 to 40 seconds. Didnt explain ANYTHING. Had nurse discharge her without giving any diagnosis. She is still having same pain. Seeing another doctor on Monday. This guy is terrible, go somewhere else!

I had a TERRIBLE experience with this doctor. He never explained the procedures, never spoke to me afterwards, and was unable to even give me the correct diagnosis. After the procedure he never showed his face again. His assistant was the only one who came and offered no answers. When discharged I was given the diagnosis of constipation. I ended going to another provider which diagnosed me with a very serious illness that required immediate hospitalization.

I am having a colonoscopy in 3 days. During office visit I told Dr. Wahid I have Ankylosing Spondylitis and I'm concerned about my fused neck and spine, also a hip replacement. Specifically I told him I'm afraid of a bowel purfiration. He assured me I have nothing to worry about, "I have preformed colonoscopies on people who are in much worse shape". He made me feel very confident in his ability to not cause me any harm. So I decided to go ahead with the procedure. I will post results.
