My husband had a colonoscopy procedure and the doctor had no bed side manners. He didn’t even introduce himself! And I thought doctors were trained to be compassionate! But not this doctor. Very disappointed as we were told he was THE BEST! After reading other reviews we would not return to him and look for another doctor.

Dr. Wahid is a good doctor, he is a man of short words but he does his work properly. 2 years ago I had health problems due to gallbladder issues, Dr. Wahid was able to help me by doing ERCP’s. He even recommended me with Dr. St Hill who helped me with full gallbladder removal. I was under Dr. Wahid’ care for over a year, and every time I had an appointment his staff was kind. I will say though, he is always in a rush but that is because of how much patients he has. Overall, he did a good job taking care of my gallbladder is... read more

Have had Dr. Wahid whom was referred by my gastro MD Dr. McDermott go into my pancreatic duct 3 times since June 2021. The first time he basically saved my life as I had developed sepsis in my blood because my previous gastro MD misdiagnosed me and my problem with my pancreas stones obstructing my pancreas bile duct went on far too long. Second and third time was to R&R stents and reevaluate. I am still under his care but have always felt like I was receiving top notch care from him. He is not Mr. Personality but then again ... read more

I worked in the GI field for 17 years in Las Vegas and personally know most of the GI doctors. While there is no dispute his bedside manner could use improvement, Dr Wahid is the best GI doctor in Nevada. Very few can compare to his level of skill and he truly cars about his patients.

Highly recommend you ask for someone else. I was admitted to Centennial Hills Hospital with abdominal pain and Septic. ( Sepsis is when an infection starts to overwhelm the body’s defenses) He was consulted and didn’t show up until late afternoon. Ordered a CT routine- it wasn’t done for 24 hours, results on chart the following day. He never came back that I know of. So basically my sepsis progressed into septic shock due to the delay. He signed off the case when the surgeon was consulted. No follow-up even though I have obv... read more

If there was a -Star I could have rated more appropriately. the worst doctor I ever met, he doesn't listen to you, I tried to tell him about my temporary IBS and if it's ok peppermint oil capsule but he kept telling me over and over the same thing: "colonoscopy, no other" option.

I Had an EGD/EUS performed by Dr. Wahid at Centennial Hills Hospital. The Hospital and staff were wonderful, however, Dr. Wahid clearly cannot identify a Spleen from Pancreas. After the procedure, he told me I had a lesion on the tail of my pancreas, and took a biopsy and sent it to pathology. Pathology results came back and reported he biopsied my SPLEEN! I am a pancreatic cancer survivor (Stage 1b tumor on the head of my Pancreas), and 4 years post-op Whipple and was terrified that my cancer had returned! Do yourself a fav... read more

I have had to deal with Wahid several times in the last few years and I have never met anyone so far out of the skill level in any occupation. Just look at the rest of these reviews. Do yourself a favor ask for another GI other than him. He will also charge your insurance an arm and a leg for the smallest of supplies. I Wholheartedly Do No Reccomend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
