Dr. Hashemi was instrumental in diagnosing my dad's faulty valve. My dad had been seen another cardiologist for several years and when symptoms arised they did not diagnose correctly. My dad was admitted to the hospital and Dr Hashemi treated him and diagnosed his condition in a 15 minute visit to the hospital. Within two months he had surgery at INOVA Fairfax to replace his valve and he's doing great. Dr. Hashimi has been been treating my Afib heart condition successfully for 4 years now. He is very knowledgable, caring and has a great bedside manner. Having been treated by Dr. Hashemi for over ten years, I cannot recommend him high enough, a cardiologist of the highest professionalism, competence, sound/thorough judgment and caring attitude towards his patients. Dr. Hashemi is the type of doctor who will visit and comfort you if you are ever God forbid hospitalized, and who will call you personally to impart test results.
