Not only is Dr. Meskin an expert practitioner, but the entire staff in his office AND at the surgery center is fabulous! While I hope that I never have any eye problems (had cataracts done) in the future, I would not hesitate for a second to contact his office. Surprise, surprise - I had that nasty hand gizmo that they use for the mild sedation - Anna did it - no bruise, no blood, no pain - she's amazing!

Dr. Meskin’s care was impeccable. I felt extremely comfortable with him, especially when asking him many questions. He was very patient, attentive and caring. My cataract surgeries were a breeze and the results wonderful. I highly recommend him!

I was extremely anxious about having my cataracts removed. Dr. Meskin was supportive, understanding and made me feel good about the procedure. He is also an excellent doctor and I recommend him 100%.

Dr. Meskin did my cataract surgery in Milford. I stayed awake w/no sedation, (my choice) but had no pain w/excellent local anesthetic. So, I can tell anyone who is nervous about the surgery, I had a beautiful experience. The entire surgery took less than 10 minutes. He is a skilled, talented and knowledgeable surgeon, but also compassionate and caring. I wish I had more room here to compliment everyone there. Great doctor. Great staff at both places. Thank you for giving me back my clear sight!

Dr. Meskin was recommended to me by another ophthalmologist since he is a cornea specialist. Dr. Meskin took time to explain everything to me and also treated me in a very compassionate manner. He told me exactly what he was going to and why. He did not make me feel rushed and answered all of my questions (and I had a lot of them.) In my experience, it's not common to find this in a medical practice anymore.

I recently had cataract surgery on both eyes and can’t say enough about how well Dr Meskin and his staff took care of me. Everything was explained clearly and all questions answered fully. Absolutely everyone I came into contact with during the whole procedure was so caring and friendly. I was very nervous going into this as in the past I couldn’t even bear putting in contact lenses, but the friendliness and caring put me completely at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Meskin and his associates.

Had an Emergency situation before his office closed on Saturday for the day, Not only was Dr. Shapiro VERY THOUROUGH with his examination but He and his technician Holly and Chris) stayed the ENTIRE time while we were there. I was VERY IMPRESSED with how he handled my very frantic daughter. He also took the time to talk to us and make sure we understood EVERYTHING he was doing. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I have been a patient of Dr Shapiro for over 35 years and absolutely love him! Dr. Shapiro is extremely knowledgeable and professional and is always willing to go above and beyond to help his patients.

My daughter has been seeing Dr Shapiro for several years now he is kind and thorough he explains everything perfectly! I would not bring her anywhere else. I myself saw Dr Shapiro yesterday. I do not wear glasses but my eyes are changing with age. He gave me all options. I am so impressed with him and his staff. I can actually say it was a pleasure getting my exam.
