Recently Dr. Meskin performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. From the time I first met him through the surgeries and follow up appointments Dr. Meskin has been great to work with. He is a great surgeon and doctor. He is a very nice person with a nice calming demeanor to put his patients at ease. Dr. Meskin encourages questions and patiently answers them. *In Focus in Milford CT-Poor customer service and inferior products* I purchased a pair of Ray Ban prescription sunglasses at In Focus, in Milford, CT approximately 5 years ago. After 4 1/2 years, I began to notice the green shading application started to decompensate. Due to Covid 19, I delayed going into this store for resolution until today, (6 mos later). Dr Meskin has been providing me with eye care for many years. As the eyesight in my left eye deteriorated, the decision was made to pursue a corneal transplant. In the interim I developed a cataract on the damaged eye so the procedure became more complex with the surgery now needing to address both of these issues. I was one very frightened patient. I am ver visual and when I knewI had to have cataract surgery I was petrified. Dr. Meskin was recommended to me by a highly respected friend. This still did not ease my fear. But the minute I walk in and met the people at the front desk they work hard to ease my discomfort. The support staff at the surgical center also went above and beyond to calm and be there for me. I can not give the amount of stars that they deserve because it would out shine the sky
I have recommended my brother to Dr. Meskin's care. Dr. Meskin is a highly skilled surgeon and I have the utmost confidence in his abilities; I have trusted my own eye care to him and I recommend him without reservation!
Not only is Dr. Meskin an expert practitioner, but the entire staff in his office AND at the surgery center is fabulous! While I hope that I never have any eye problems (had cataracts done) in the future, I would not hesitate for a second to contact his office. Surprise, surprise - I had that nasty hand gizmo that they use for the mild sedation - Anna did it - no bruise, no blood, no pain - she's amazing!
Dr. Meskin’s care was impeccable. I felt extremely comfortable with him, especially when asking him many questions. He was very patient, attentive and caring. My cataract surgeries were a breeze and the results wonderful. I highly recommend him!
I was extremely anxious about having my cataracts removed. Dr. Meskin was supportive, understanding and made me feel good about the procedure. He is also an excellent doctor and I recommend him 100%.
Dr. Meskin did my cataract surgery in Milford. I stayed awake w/no sedation, (my choice) but had no pain w/excellent local anesthetic. So, I can tell anyone who is nervous about the surgery, I had a beautiful experience. The entire surgery took less than 10 minutes. He is a skilled, talented and knowledgeable surgeon, but also compassionate and caring. I wish I had more room here to compliment everyone there. Great doctor. Great staff at both places. Thank you for giving me back my clear sight!
