We had a 3:30 PM appointment with Joseph Pausa in Alpharetta and arrived on time. Upon entering the office, we were immediately put off by the unpleasant smell in the waiting room. Dr Pausa has been warm friendly and totally trustworthy. My visits are comforting and trustworthy . I have and will continue to recommend Dr. PausaI had not visited for a few years, but when my need arose, he was on top of all past problems.
About 8 years ago I went to Dr Pausa for a tooth extraction (what was left of a badly broken tooth) and after it healed, went back to him for a tooth implant replacement, and I was very satisfied with the results. Recently I had a problem with a wisdom tooth and today he extracted it quickly without any problems using a local anesthetic (Lidocaine). Very knowledgeable and kind. Took the time to explain everything clearly and answer questions. Procedure and recovery went very well. His team is very courteous as well.
After having had a tooth (No. 20) pulled by my regular dentist I was looking at getting an implant. During the initial (visual) exam Dr. Pausa did not wear a mask - during a pandemic! Since I was not sure whether he was within guidelines I did not say anything (no one else in the office seemed to wear a mask either). My appointment for the bone graft followed on July 28.
