Horrible doctor. 6 months after being sent here by a primary care physician for surgery to remove calcified growths which developed after an injury he admits he never read the primary care referral. Then he tries to cover his incompetency by insisting it's rheumatoid arthritis and that there was never an injury as though he some sort of psychic. This injury would cause arthritis to a 10 year old. This is not the place to go with an injury, Gargasz appears to be untrained in this area.
I posted a review about Dr. Gargasz right after my wrist arthroplasty in January and wanted to follow up 9 months later. My wrist healed great and I have no pain and am able to function like 30 yrs ago! It's the best thing I've done and Dr. Gargasz did an excellent job. By looking at my hand and wrist, there's no way to tell that I surgery! I'm on the verge of having a knee replacement and wish that Dr. Gargas could do that as well! He has a great personality and did excellent surgery!
Very professional, patient, efficient, personable, great listener. Made me feel at ease and explained my condition and expectations thoroughly.
My overall experience with Dr.Gargasz is great. But the advanced hand and plastic surgery center in Westley Chapel is the absolute worst. I've been here over an hour waiting. There is a full waiting room. When I first walked in there wasn't even seating. The lady at the front desk is rude. I had to drive over an hr to get here, only to wait over an hr. I wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone. I had problems the 1sr time with being scheduled on a day Dr wasn't here. But the Dr is great.
Excellent doctor! He is very meticulous and caring and does not rush into surgery if there is another way. I had broken my wrist (distal radius fracture) and he put a splint on right away after the Xray. I was very lucky as my wrist ended up healing on it's own. He also did Carpal Tunnel Surgery on my right hand and I was extremely pleased with the outcome. I would highly recommend this Doctor.
