I've been seeing Dr. Gargasz for more than 10 years & over that time I've noticed a marked decline in the quality of the front office staff & benefits staff as well. Call to make an appointment & you'll eventually get a recording that the 'front desk can't take your call'. Leave a message & no one calls you back. Dr. Gargasz himself is an excellent doctor as are his back office assistants but I can no longer tolerate the incompetence of whomever they have making appointments (or more accurately, not making them). Dr. Scott Gargasz is an incredibly knowledgeable, highly skilled, compassionate and thoughtful hand surgeon. Dr. Gargasz saved my fingers with very extensive, highly complicated and technically innovative surgeries. I am forever thankful he came to the ER in the middle of the night to take care of me and refused to amputate all of my fingers which had been severely crushed and damaged. The Advanced Hand & Plastic Surgery Center is a well-managed, well organized and observably dedicated medical provider. Dr. Gargasz is highly competent, noticeably courteous and clearly interested in the well being of his patients. His calming manners and respectful patience are genuine and very sincere. It is quite obvious that his leadership sets a shining example for his staff, as they strive to offer and maintain the highest standard of care and courtesy I have experienced recently.
I've used Dr gargasz for years. I have terrible tendons in my hands. He is wonderful! Compassionate and very attentive! I recommend him to all friends needing hand issues repaired.

My Son Seriously Fractured his hand on Saturday evening, He and I spent over 8 hours in the Brandon ER resulting in not being seen due to hos. having internal issues. left to TGH urgent care now Sunday morning.
