I'm 71 and lead a very active life, which got thwarted with so much pain in my knee. 6 weeks post surgery I was able to go 4 mile brisk walks with no pain. Even after surgery when they say 2 weeks you'll hurt like the dickens, I felt like such a weight lifted off me and not anywhere near the pain I had prior surgery.
After having a knee replacement done (in CT) incorrectly, & 6 months of p.t., I was in more pain than before the surgery! I decided to return to Buffalo & UB MD Orhopaedics, where Dr Matthew Phillips had done a right knee replacement 10 years earlier, (beautifully, I might add!)
