Ive had Dr E for 25 years now. I adore him, Ben and the ladies in his office! His staff has been on board with him for years! Dr E has saved my life on numerous occasions and jumps through hoops to take care of me and my family. He curates an amazing team of doctors for all of my needs and oversees everything for me. They fight my insurance companies to get the approvals for my medications. Yes I do have the hybrid program however, I also have my share of medical problems. I didn't think doctors like this existed - brilliant AND caring is hard to find. Worth the wait too as once I got in the room with him it became clear why people wait.. he is thorough and he takes the time to educate. This is worth every minute of waiting as most doctors are quick and dismissive. Caring, thorough internal medicine physician. Always concerned with your questions and answering them completely. The time for an appt. is only limited by the end of yours and his concerns. It doesn’t seem to matter how long it takes! He follows through on everything to get to the bottom of the issue. In addition the staff is kind and always helpful.

Dr. Elsbree is the acting physician at the Inn at Sarasota Bay Club. While he never took care of my mother during an almost two year stay, when mom passed away before Christmas holiday, the doctor never signed death certificate until he was pressed to do so on 1/3. That speaks volumes doesn’t it? Thanks for the extra pain you put our family through.

Dr. Elsbree and his PAs are wonderful but it is impossible to get into contact with anyone. There has never been a time within the last 1.5 years that I have called and spoken to anyone with the exception of scheduling. Instead, you leave a message and are very fortunate if you hear back from someone. If you do, they call at a time good for them and likely not you. The portal is wonderful but there have been issues with getting a response from the messaging system.

My husband and I have been patients of his for 21 years. He is the best internist we’ve ever had. He’s extremely knowledgeable, explains everything, and doesn’t rush you. He will also offer a holistic approach if one is available rather than prescribe drugs. I highly recommend him.

Provider is good. Staff is completely incompetent to the non-concierge patients and I’ll bet for the concierge also if my intuition is correct. Communication is lousy when 1-1 needed. Staffs ability to do tasks correctly the first time— appointments, prescriptions— never happens. Re-dos constantly. Appt. length based on issue PREVIOUSLY booked is inadequate. in-office procedure delayed several times. They blew prescriptions at two different pharmacies on the last one. No RX. Wrong dose.
