As an OT and LC who treats babies with tethered oral tissues (TOTs/tongue tie) Dr. Siegel is on the top of my referral list. When my own child was born and needed a frenotomy it was clear who I wanted to go to to provide the release. It is so rare to find a doctor who is so skilled, so experienced, research driven, kind, compassionate, and truly cares about his patients and the work he does.
Both of my sons had their tongue ties treated by Dr. Siegel. Both had latch issues while breasts feeding before the procedure. We couldn’t have been happier with the results. Great staff also helped expedite the process so there was no wait time when we arrived.
Dr. Siegel and his staff are amazing. Both of my children had tongue and lip ties. My youngest son was on a feeding tube and was able to begin weaning off of it less than two weeks after seeing Dr. Siegel. He is very knowledgeable, efficient and compassionate. We traveled from out of state both times to see him and he made himself very available by phone during recovery. I would recommend Dr. Siegel to anyone concerned about possible ties.
While researching physicians for my child’s suspected lip tie, Dr. Siegel was highly recommended by a good friend of mine whose infant is also a patient of his. After she raved about him, I knew I had to bring my child in to see him. The office was extremely clean and I felt very comfortable and safe being there with the ongoing pandemic. Dr. Siegel and his staff are amazing. Both of our children had tongue and lip ties that were affecting breastfeeding, and Dr. Siegel revised them both. He took the time to explain the procedure and answer any questions we had. The procedure was quick, and the post procedure instructions/ demonstrations were thorough. Dr. Siegel is truly amazing! He treated our daughter for a tongue and lip tie. The procedure was done so quick with the laser. Our daughter cried a little, but nothing like we expected. After the procedure we were shown how to do the exercises and we texted pictures to Dr. Siegel during the healing process. That was so helpful for us considering we live in New Jersey. I have seen dr Siegel for both of my girls. Breastfeeding was extremely painful and my lactation consultant recommend Dr Siegel. He was able to diagnose a lip tie and posterior tongue tie immediately and we did the laser procedure on the spot. Breastfeeding became much less painful once they were able to achieve a proper latch . The procedure took seconds and I was then taken to a recovery room and able to nurse my girls. Just want to thank Dr. Scott Siegel for today's revision done on my 5 week old boy. Dr. Siegel was so gentle and professional during this process. I love that both parents were allowed in the room, alot of other doctors don't allow that. I love that chooses to use a laser versus a traditional clip which I've read alot of ties reattach this way! Dr. Siegel and his entire staff are absolutely wonderful! My daughter stopped latching at 5 days old. I worked with a lactation consultant who suspected tongue and lip tie and recommended Dr. Siegel. I contacted his office on Tuesday morning, had a virtual session with Dr. Siegel Wednesday (COVID related), and the procedure was done on Thursday!
