Very poor bedside manner....extremely disappointed. I am a high risk pregnancy with many losses. During a procedure, I alerted her to sharing feedback with me. She raised her tone and let me know that “it is not like you are a thin woman”.....there is a way to share information and to communicate and this is not the way. Insulting your patient is not appropriate. This doctor could use some peer to peer positive mentoring from the empathetic physicians on her team. I would never see her again.
Dr. Obican is awesome. My wife and I love her. Very thorough, thoughtful, informative, and caring.
