Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience with Dr. Khurana’s office. Due to the pandemic we’re in, I had to reschedule two appointments. Instead of being understanding, they told me, “you’re not welcome here and find another doctor”. The right response should have been, “thanks for not exposing us to Covid and doing your part to keep us safe”.
I really liked Dr. Khurana but my son was having testing done on his liver and he never called with the results. I had to request them from the lab and have another doctor go over the results. Disappointing. When I called the front desk they told me he was busy with other patients. Guess I wasn't worth a call back.
Dr. Khurana did an excellent job with my son. His bedside manner is perfect for young children. My son (7yrs) felt at ease due to the Dr's humor. When it was adult talk, he was very professional and spoke at our level of understanding. I would recommend Dr. Khurana to any parent! An additional note, I love how Dr. Khurana doesn't place himself above everyone else. Second time we walked in (just after lunch), we saw him helping the girls sweep! Thank you Dr. Khurana.
We had a great experience with Dr Khurana
Uncaring, arrogant, unsympathetic, no empathy. Thousands of dollars and a disdainful lecture about proper diet - for a child with many sensory issues!! That was the first visit. 8 years later - same thing. Referred for elevated !iver enzymes (rather serious test results). He personally said to me in the waiting room that he would not even see my child because we had an unpaid bill of thousands of dollars from 8 years ago that I didn't even know about. Will report to the medical board.
Business response:
Parents has a balance in their account for last 8 year and mother was aware of it at the time of making a follow up appointment. Obviously, mother liked the care given 8 yrs ago otherwise she would not have made the this appointment.
Dr Khurana got my son in quickly Listened to my concerns and acted quickly. He scheduled a scope 2 days later and confirmed the diagnosis he was thinking EOE. He has been wonderful in helping my son feel better and is always available to talk to. I would recommend him if you are looking for a pediatric GI doctor.
