I found Dr. Ratnakant very easy to talk to, and he explains things in a way I could completely understand. He asks a zillion questions and comes across very kind, personable and extremely intelligent. I feel so confident in his care, and am so glad that he was the doctor that was recommended to me by my primary care doctor. He is too busy to schedule an appointment. He recommends treatment without any explanation as to why it is needed. The only visit I had, at the onset, left me not knowing what my condition was.
Dr. Ratnakant ordered a CT scan for me, then never called me with the results. After 2 months went by I finally was able to have a nurse read me the results and found I had two nodules on my lungs. I guess Dr. Ratnakant didn't feel that was important enough to warrant a call or email. I have switched doctors.
My experience with Dr Ratnakant was very poor. I regret going to the place that forced me to deal with him. I am trying to take steps to ensure that I will never end up in a place where he works, so that hopefully I never encounter him again.
Iv seen Dr. Ratnakant for a sleep follow up and he was so nice ! Very knowledgeable and quickly was able to explain to me why my CPAP was acting crazy on me. He has wonderful staff working for him as well !
