I have been going to Dr. Kumar for a very long time. I tried another pain management dr. and was very disappointed with the effects of my treatment, so I went back to Dr. Kumar and he is wonderful each time I have seen him for any procedure and I get great results from his treatment. Dr Kumar is a delight! Very personable and listens to your ailments! Procedure room, Dr Kumar and team are very relaxing, calming and spot on. Yet they keep a very energetic sense of humor that keeps your mind off the procedure. Podiatrist, Dr Gerhard is also a great part of the team.
Dr. Kumar has been treating my chronic pain for about the last 5 yrs. & after my 3 back surgeries. Thru the use of RF ablation, injections, & closely monitored pain meds he has helped to make my pain tolerable. Nothing takes my pain away all the time but this has made my pain manageable. If you are looking to just get pain meds then he is not the Dr. to see. He is honest, caring, & genuinely concerned about your care.
At almost 2 years of severe back, hip and leg pain. Quality of life wasn't looking good at all for me! After doing PT with no improvement Dr. Kumar did injections on my spine and later burned the nerves and I was like 95% better! I thank Dr. Kumar and his staff!
I was referred to Dr Kumar after an ER visit. He saw how much pain I was in and would not refer me to get an MRI or prescribe medicine. He stated that PT would have to be attempted and failed before he'd refer me to get an MRI. His office was overstaffed and very poor at their jobs. I called and left messages all day without a return call. The phones were never answered. Do not make appointments at this office. You will regret it.
