Just had my 3rd colonoscopy with Dr. El-Hechem. Was lucky to get her. Very thorough and answered all my questions. I have some digestive issues but she puts me at ease.
Dr. El-Hachem is very kind & knowledgable, she takes the time to know you and what is going on, you don't feel like you are just another patient for her. I traveled 2 hours out of state to see her and was actually sad when I no longer had to go to her, as she had fixed my issues.
Excellent interaction with patient; makes every attempt to make sure patient is at ease and comfortable with procedure; explains procedure well; very engaging and congenial; updates patients as to any unforeseen delays. Gastroenterology procedures by their nature can be stressful, and Dr. El-Hachem and Dr. Arillotta (anesthesiologist) went out of their way to make the procedure as comfortable as possible.
