Horrible bedside manner, in professionalism between himself and his PA. He can never remember what he tells you from one appointment to the next and then lies about what he originally promised. He is not available the day after surgery when complications arise and won’t speak with you or his PA, whomever is on call regarding issues. Dr. Harmsen and his staff were amazing prior, during and after my shoulder replacement. I would recommend him to anyone.
Dr Harmsen is personable and very professional! He has performed two shoulder surgeries for me. I was very pleased my recoveries were very successful without any issues. Dr. Harmsen and his PA, Megan, are a great team together;. They truly care, really listen to their patients and have a great sense of humor I highly recommend Dr. Harmsen and Megan!
Excellent doctor/surgeon (Dr Samuel Harmsen), tremendous PA (Meagan Thomas) and an outstanding staff!!! I injured my shoulder in an accident and my last doctor wanted to just keep shooting me up with cortisone and sending me to physical therapy. When I got tired of that, I went to see Dr Harmsen and he found the problem and performed surgery on my shoulder to fix it. Thank you to Dr Harmsen, to PA Meagan Thomas and to the rest of the crew for being so amazing!! I appreciate y'all.
Dr. Harmsen, his PA Megan, Kim, and other staff were fantastic! Megan immediately went into an in-depth explanation of the surgery process and my family member's current situation, including drawing pictures and answering multiple questions. Dr. Harmsen re-explained the situation to make sure everything was understood, asked multiple times if there were any other questions, and gave a very realistic view of what the outcome could be and the inevitable risks related to surgery.
