although he is knowledgeable, he has one of the worst bedside manners I have ever seen and I have a very large healthcare team due to my many issues, I am actively searching for a new urologist. He talks down to his patients like they are children and it seems like he is the client and puts his needs or time in a more important category than the patients.
Office people don’t give care. Not informative about insurance. Waisted my family’s time . Made appt then after getting there, oh you need a referral and he may not even take you !!!! Very unpleasant !!! Rude
My father had an appointment with Dr. Dakil for help when he had blood in his urine for over a month. Dr. Dakil did not want to look at the pictures, he had no idea what to do, and sent my father home with no follow up investigation. My dad is now in the hospital and had to have a blood transfusion, is anemic, and could have died from this all. The doctors in the hospital are working on where the blood is coming from. Dr. Dakil did not even attempt to try. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR!!!!
Dr Dakil is a very competent Dr. I appreciate his direct approach. As for the office, ill mannered and incompetent. They are more interested in monies than the Dr seeing patients. They are trying to collect monies when none are due. I have always paid my bills in a timely fashion. I had to cancel appointment due to them trying to squeeze monies out of me in advance.

Before I ever Went to see the #Doctor #Dakil I explain If I needed surgery I would not have nothing to do with Norman regional they assured me that they could do it in another place when it come time for surgery they said they couldn't do it no place but Norman regional I was lie to and deceive #Doctor #Dakil and the staff is Very unprofessional and would not recommend tham
I think Dakil personally is OK, but his staff is totally incompetent.1st, they accidentally mailed out my personal information to all of their clients (SSN, DOB, etc), and later they failed to schedule my hormone implant followup. I called and left 5 messages over 2 weeks begging for someone to call me back and never once got a phone call. My hormone levels flatlined and I had horrible side effects for 1 mo. until I could find a new dr. After all that, they turned me into collections!
I saw Dr. Dakil for acute urinary incontience. He gave a thorough exam explaining findings, ordered additional testing & recommended surgerical correction. The surgery repair was successful as I no longer have symptoms. Dr. Dakil was very professional, made me feel at ease & answered my questions. If I ever require additional treatment or surgery, I would request Dr. Dakil.
Dr. Dakil is very nice. I don 't get much information before or after surgery. In fact, the last procedure I had done the nurses couldn't find him. Waited as long as we could and just left. At the office always see the PA's and never the doctor. Doctor only sees you if you are going to have procedure at hospital. I think he is knowledgeable in his field, does what he feels will help and back to the PA's.
