Dr. Bangalore is the best neurologist that has treated me. He is caring, understanding and well educated on neurological disorders. I begin having seizures in 1996, Dr. Bangalore diagnosed me with epilepsy in 2007 before recommending the VNS medical device implant that decreased my seizure episodes tremendously. Dr Bangalore is the first Neurologist that has not tried to push more medication to the regimen my son is already taking. He is the only physician that has recommended extensive testing to find the right treatment plan for my 23 year old son that started having seizures at the age of 18. He actually called me yesterday after my son had to be transferred to the hospital after the worst tonic clonic seizure he has ever had. Dr. Bangalore is amazing! He leaves no stone unturned in searching for the source of my husband’s seizures. He’s so easy to talk to and explains everything very well. I’ve already recommended him to two different friends and one family member.
Worst doctor I've had and I've had terribly doctors. To begin with he's condescending. I told him I was having a certain side effect from a medication I had started taking and he told me it wasn't a side effect??? Not to mention he has horrible availability. Either work at a clinic or a hospital, there's no reason why I should be seeing him every 6-8 months. He says he speaks Spanish, but couldn't communicate with my mother. I saw him at Sunrise hospital and he talked too much and didn’t listen to my symptoms. I came prepared with a symptom journal and he said he was the wrong person to tell. Told me I needed an MS Specialist. I was admitted for 6 days. He never brought an MS specialist and then, after never hearing my symptoms, tried to diagnose me. Also, I got shingles while in the hospital and the nurses messaged him for over 24 hours to ask him to come take a look and he failed to. Terrible! The receptionists were extremely rude! Dr. B didn't give me anytime to explain my symptoms (being my first time seeing him), I felt very rushed and I spent more time filling out paperwork than actually getting the "help" I need! The only nice person there was the nurse who took my vitals!
