Incredibly nice guy but potentially missed a labrum tear from a car accident I had a year ago.. sought a second opinion and the doc saw fit the need for further investigation (MRI with contrast) soon to be fulfilled. Went to Dr. Akhavan two following times over the course of the year saying my shoulder wasn’t getting better with PT and he saw no further need to investigate even though first MRI without contrast noted edema..
I would not recommend him, .I was a new patient, he did not have the time of day for me.
Short wait.... great male nurse took so much info and asked every question! Dr Akhavan came in shortly after. He gets right to it, explains any possible outcome and option. Then recommends. What a wonderful experience seriously! I’ve had over 8 surgeries so I’ve had many appointments. I’m completely happy with Dr Akhavan and would recommend him for any Ortho needed issue.
Smart, Hospitable, To the Point. I would give him 6 stars if I could. Highly recommend.
