Dr.Saleem Tahir MD was always friendly and so was the staff. He answered all my questions and helped me. When I first went to Dr.Saleem Tahir he took me off Depakote the pill did not work,he started me on primidone the pill has been working, I just have to watch that the phenobarbital level doesn't get too high or too low. Plus the last 13 years I have not had a seizure. Also he knows that I have to watch out that my white cells and platelet counts don't go lower than normal and not too high, if the levels go low I get bruis... read more

He was a consult at St Mary's. Extremely rude to the point of bullying me over my son's seizure meds. He then lied and said he had talked to his regular doctor of 20 years who agreed with him. Upon checking, he had never call my sons doctor at all. I told the hospital if he ever walked in my sons room again I would sue. He was convinced the seizure medication's were causing kidney stones when in fact both our regular neurologist and our urologist said they had nothing to do with it.

The doctor and staff are polite and very help full. There is not much waiting period . I have been his patient since long, so he knows my medical history well that helps in the proper treatment.

If i could give 0 stars I would my experience was horrible. Nobody wanted to wear their mask. Had me marked down for the wrong procedures. Very unorganized. He dropped something on the floor and demanded that I picked it up. I said no and left I went home to shower the place was discussing. NEVER AGAIN. DON'T COME HERE.

I would not recommend Dr. Tahir to my worst enemy! He does not listen to his patient. I was diagnosed with a neurological condition a year ago and went to him for post surgical pain management. He told me that I wasn't experiencing pain and that I was just worried about having went thru surgery. He also gave me a neurological exam and told me that I was fine. The thing is, before my diagnosis I would have been able to pass that exam! I will never go back to him again.

Dr. Tahir diagnosed me with Parkinson's, and prescribed Amantadine. I went to a Parkinson's specialist for a second opinion and perhaps more suggestions for care. He said I do NOT have Parkinson's or any of the markers for it, and if I did, Amantadine would be a highly unusual first step for dealing with it. 2 $35 visits and $100 for the medicine down the drain.

My son was a patient in the ICU. Dr. Tahir was called in for consultation and wanted change my son's seizure medications while he was in critical condition. I objected to any change and told him so. I said I wanted to talk to our own neurologist when my son was more stable . He stepped out a minute and came back saying he called our doctor who agreed with him. I spoke with our doctor later and found he had not be contacted at all. Dr. Tahir lied to me and changed the meds against my wishes

We have been with Dr Tahir for years..he is very professional and is genuinely concerned about my well being. Dr.Tahir is always available to us when needed. He listens to me when I talk to him and answers all our questions regarding my Parkinsons. We have recommended him to friends and family...

I explained all of my symptoms, and he sent me for an Mri which came back normal. Based on those results, he told me to see a psychiatrist. He is, in my opinion, a terrible Doctor.
