Be wary of this doctor and his communication with patients and his staff and messages they are supposed to receive. Because of his lack of communication, my father in law was unable to have his scheduled surgery to remove his cataracts, leaving him unable to see for who knows how long until the VA will approve another doctor to get the schedule clearances. Dr. Sia Chavala is truly a lifesaver. He’s treated my mom with age-related macular degeneration for 5 years. He has maintained and supported her eyesight for 5 years. He’s not only brilliant in his education, performance, and expertise but he is kind, comforting and understanding. Patient to answer any and all of your questions.
Dr chavala is one of the most amazing doctors I’ve ever met. Along with his brilliance in the knowledge of what he does, he has a gift of comforting and reassuring communication with his patients. Great sense of humor as well.
I have already recommended Dr. Chavala to three people. He was absolutely wonderful for my retinal hole. He exceeded my expectations.
