BEEARE!!! Dr Chundu treated my mother for many years. She was nearly comatose and he kept prescribing more and more. He didnt meet with her in person for 4 years which is not allowed for psychiatry. She couldnt even feed herself because she was so doped up and he just kept giving her more. She died after a seizure and stroke

I have Kaiser and after reading the reviews I was concerned. However, to my delight he was lovely and kind and knowledgeable about medications. He is concerned to get through the questionnaire and understand your issues and overall health as well. The appt was good and he prescribed medication conservatively and scheduled a followed up.
I’ve seen a lot of doctors over the last 10 years, and I really appreciate Dr. Chundu’s style. I came in prepared with my history and an idea of what I wanted to try next, and he actually listened and worked with me on a plan instead of just dismissing me. He is very knowledgeable about medications and found a solution that has really helped my depression when other standard treatments didn't. He has been my son's psychiatrist for many years. I love that he has Saturday appointments. He is one of the few that see children. He always responds quick to my messages.
