Very Disappointing. This doctor has been out of the office for over 3 weeks for a family emergency. I understand these emergencies. That's why I came to see Dr. Sheafe for my son. However, I've also worked in the medical field. And, when you have patients whose LIVES depend on you, and you leave town on an emergency - don't you think it would be best to tell your answering service what's going on - for your patients?! Unfortunately, I have to echo many of the concerns shared in other reviews. Dr. Sheafe seems far too overextended to provide effective care in the Hampton Roads area. She came highly recommended, but after nearly a year, my daughter has only spoken with her once, and even then, Dr. Sheafe was late to that call. Appointments have been canceled repeatedly without any effort to follow up or reschedule, and just last night we arrived for a scheduled appointment only to find the office closed and no one there. I am very very disappointed in this Company who allows young children In my case Specifically young black boys & girls to fall through the cracks. I was recommended by a former therapist of my child's to her. It literally took 3 years for her to see him and get him assigned to someone. They don't return phone calls, they lie and say they did.
