He has helped me more than any other Dr has ever helped me. He is the best Dr around. He really knows his stuff.
He is one of the best doctors I have dealt with and I used to be a nurse. He cares more about the patient than the money. He has sat on the phone with my husband for over 6 hr when I had a bad reaction. He has also opened his his office at 8-9pm on Saturday or Sunday to help me, would even make a house call once or twice. They don't make them like him anymore.
This “Doctor” said and I quote “ are you a convict or some kind of inmate?” I kid you not these are the first words out of his mouth upon entering the room with me. His staff was courteous, he was not. After listening to him cut me down, attack my character, and generally refer to me as a waste of time for approximately a half hour in the room I’d had enough. Sucks sucks sucks sucks
Not great at listening or discussing your treatment plan with you. Two appointments and each time I had surprise medications or referrals waiting for me. Really aggressive with pain treatment, wanted spinal cord simulator trial before I had even tried less evasive options.
Dr Potter is knowledgeable and personable. The only negative thing I would say is that communicating with the office/nursing staff is next to impossible

New to Corpus Christi TX and with chronic LBP, I did an internet search, read the reviews to choose Ryan Potter, MD, Comprehensive Pain Management. Completed 2 epidurals with 80% resolution. Noteworthy was my last appointment with Dr. Potter; he spent a good 45 minutes reviewing outcomes and discussing alternatives. This guy is busy; 45 minutes , unheard of in today's health care environment! Am in good hands. I STRONGLY recommend!
