Dr Nelson was very attentive to my needs and allowed me to ask many multiple questions through my initial consultation, the day of the surgery and then my follow-up after surgery. Amanda Harvard PA was very informative in my situation also and easy to talk to. The staff will help you work through all aspects from filling out charts to billing. I highly recommend this practice!
Dr. Nelson and team replaced my hip. This was a 1st surgery for me at age 60plus. The doctor or team answered all questions and were extremely nice. While always professional on tasks a bit of humor was injected and I appreciated that. Thirteen days out from surgery, I feel this operation was a complete success.
Explained options & procedures in concise easy to understand terms & made sure all my questions got answered.

Dr. Nelson informed me immediately that the healing process was going to be difficult and I'll probably 'Hate Him' for a few days after. I actually hated physical therapy more.Dr. Nelson expressed how please he was with my progress every visit. Personally I never felt so weak and vulnerable. Dr Nelson took the time to explain the procedure to my wife and I and because of my age which is 72 that this would be the best procedure for me. I had rotator cuff surgery in April of 2023 and had a retear. Dr Nelson explained to us that he did 108 of these procedures last year so I felt very confident with him doing the surgery also I feel he has great bedside manners.
Both total hip replacements were performed by Dr. Nelson. He was exceptional on both. I did experience numbness on the first operation. Dr. Nelson learned why that was happening and made a different incision location and that produced no numbness after second procedure. I recommend Dr. Nelson for anyone seeking a total hip replacement.
He is upbeat and exudes positivity.
I was so happy with my first total knee replacement by Dr. Nelson that I had him also perform a total knee replacement on my other leg.
