Dr Chen did my first shoulder replacement & we are looking into another one/on the other shoulder! I would not go to anyone else!
I saw Dr. Chen for knee pain. He explained the x-rays so I could understand well. He was kind and very professional. Help gave me exercises to do and explained how I should follow-up. I recommend him to anyone.
Have seen Dr. Chen for 2 different injuries - shoulder and knee. In both cases he prescribed PT and pain management. Shoulder completely healed and currently doing PT for knee. He indicated surgery only as a last resort if PT isn’t successful. Highly recommend Dr. Chen.
Very judgmental about his patient’s life habits. Total waste of my time and money!! Referred me to another surgeon so obviously he’s not self assured of his skills . He seems more interested in ongoing visits vs a solution. I will see Dr. apíñalo and if no positive results there will pursue another option at a different orthopedic group.
I wasn't impressed with his knowledge of medicine He will do surgery to benefit his pockets,afterward he don't seem to care about his patients well being.I wouldn't referral anyone to him
during a fall I tore the rotator cuff in left and right shoulders. Dr. Chen operated on both . Operation went perfectly. 2 years later I am good as new. I can play basketball with my son, tennis with my daughter and yoga with my wife. Excellent surgeon. I have recommended Dr. Chen to my friends and I recommend him to the reader of this review as well.
I would suggest getting a 2nd opinion! That’s all I’m saying!
I'm a 58 year old female who required surgery to repair labrum and bicep this year. I'm now 4 1/2 months post surgery and 1 month post physical therapy and am incredibly pleased with the outcome. I'm not completely healed, but the progress has been encouraging. Dr. Chen and his staff were extremely professional and caring. He took time to explain in detail the surgery and necessary follow-up. He did an excellent job and I'm very grateful!
Not interested in my aftercare and barely paid any attention to me during office visits. His surgery failed and I needed to change doctors to get it redone. Look elsewhere if you want any interest shown in your case
