After 4 other clinical consults for my chronic back pain, I found a doctor that was not quick to jump to surgical intervention and was willing to listen to all of my symptoms. Outstanding doctor that communicates in depth what is going on with you. Dr. Bergeson is thorough with order necessary tests to diagnosis you. He do t just jump at doing surgery for money etc…. I have know him for over 10 yes and has done me well with my back surgeries. Always there to help and gives me reassurance that he will be there if I need him. Best decision. To have as my back surgeon . I highly recommend him.

Dr. Bergeson is professional yet compassionate and really takes time to answer questions I may have in a manner that I understand. I have and will continue to recommend him as the best orthopedic spinal surgeon!
Dr. Bergeson brought me back from the depths of back pain that had left me with no feeling below my waist from time to time! I now have no pain, am able to walk mikes at a time without pain, and I have full mobility to play golf or racquetball! I recommend Dr. Bergeson without reservation!
It was the best decision I have ever made. I had a low back injury 50 years ago and been told to accept the fact that I would be on muscle relaxers and pain meds for the rest of my life. Dr. Bergeson, Fused my L3,4,5 ,lower back because of several slipped disc, that were making it unable to walk,sleep,since the nerve was being pinched and causeing the scatic nerve pain down my right leg, , it is now 4 months out and i have NO PAIN! and could not be happier, the surjury started with a prayer , and the great skill of Dr. Bergeson, and now i am Pain Free. After years of suffering & trying everything to avoid surgery, I realized I’d run out of options. I was finally desperate enough to see a surgeon. Dr. Bergeson & PA Josh patiently explained the procedure to me & my husband. They were kind & encouraging as we’re the entire Georgetown staff. Having the surgery was the best decision I could have made. Dr. Bergeson is an excellent surgeon & a wonderful person. I’m actually pain free now! He even prayed with me & my husband before surgery.
