We started out with her a few years ago and it has progressively gotten worse. She started out compassionate but still did not give great detail about the disease we were dealing with. We were shuffled around numerous times. My husband does not deal with change well and they tried multiple time to change him to the NP. He did not want this. I have been treated by Dr. Fredericks for over 25 years and I think she is the best and most caring physician anywhere in the South. Yes, you do have to wait to see her but when you are face to face with her, you know why you were willing to wait. If I could give 10 Stars I would.

Excellent physician but, overbooking is as bad as I've seen. Wait times commonly exceed 90 minutes.
Very unprofessionally Ran Office. Only pays Attention To A Certain Ethnicity And Does Not Listen To You At All.
I've been a patient of Dr. Fredericks more than 10 years. She is the most caring physician I've ever seen. I have the utmost trust in her judgment. I highly recommend her to any and everyone who is in need of neurological medical help. Her staff is great, always ready to help.
Dr. Fredericks is one of the best Doctor's I have met. She cares about her patients and spends an adequate amount of time with you answering your questions. You may have to wait a little longer than normal but it's because she is spending the time needed with other patients or has had to go to the hospital for an emergency. It is well worth the wait.
Dr Ruth Fredericks is the closest thing to have a "Dr House" in expertise. She is so caring and concerned for her patients. She listens and explains things in a way the "normal" person can understand. She goes far beyond what any doctor I have every used does. Her staff and nurse practitioner is absolute wonderful. I will continue telling people about how great she is.
I've been with Dr. Fredericks for a very long time. She is awesome. Always comes in with a warm smile even with a waiting room full. She has always provided me with the best and most proficient care. I cannot make it with out her She is the best!
