Ordered an MRI which showed that I had nodules on my thyroid. Recommended that I see an Endocrionologist. They will biopsy nodes on 9/21/2016. I would not have found out about te nodules except for the MRI.
Dr. Diaz was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful to my husband at his appointment. He accused him of being an opiate abuser because he had used pain pills after a painful shoulder surgery a year ago. And then several months ago he had a cyst in both eyes, one which became infected (very rare). My husband made no mention of wanting pain pills for his back that he injured a month ago. We were only there to hopefully get a diagnosis and a treatment plan. It was a horrible experience!!!
Business response:
This comment was not from the patient. Second the patient was not acussed of anything. He became upset that I mentioned the results of the GPDMP showing he had multiple schedule 2 prescriptions in the last year from different providers, information which he did not provide in our initial patient questionnaire, nor when asked which pain medications he has been given in the last year. I informed the patient that we were an Interventional clinic and not a chronic opiate medication management clinic
