I have been seeing Dr. Meland for around 5 years now. He is compassionate, a good listener, he cares genuinely for the well being of all his patients. He will listen when you feel like no one else will. When I was in the hospital, he called the doctors in the hospital to make sure I was receiving adequate care. He knows what he’s talking about when it comes to medications, dosages, interactions, and treatment plans.
Dr. Meland is an awesome physician. He is kind, very, very trustworthy. Dr. Meland is engaging, humanistic, very caring and an gentle human being. Dr. Meland understands the issue we as human face and I'm sure along his journeys Dr. Meland has seen the worst in humans, haven't we all. Dr. Meland seemed very knowledgeable, kind and trustworthy. However the office staff is something else. I have witnessed them intimidate patients and threaten their care over billing objections and questions. For example, an elderly patient had forgotten an appointment because the reminder call came in a week before the missed appointment and she was told or it was strongly inferred that she could not been seen until the miss appointment fee of $75-$90 was paid; she paid it. I gladly recommend this physician with a few caveats . . . . beware that the office staff can be difficult to work with at times, but the wait and discomfort caused by the "gatekeepers" is worth the challenge. Being part of this practice with Dr. Meland and Angie S. makes me feel more human and blessed than many other offices ever had!
Incredible doctor!! Worst office staff ever, but its worth putting up with their disrespect and unprofessional behavior just to see Dr. Meland. I can't say enough good things about him!! Started as his patient at Hope Network and am now at his other office.

Dr. Meland is kind, intelligent, respectful, and he makes you feel like you are his only patient. He has a sense of humor when it's appropriate. He is an example of what a Dr should be.
