I went to Dr Krantz for testosterone and he wound up with all these exams on my prostate. He scared me into believing there was a problem with my prostate and ordered all these evasive tests to be preformed in his office. I went for a second opinion with the head of Urology at NYU when Krantz order a biopsy on my prostate. The NYU urologist told me I had no concerns with my prostate. Years later now trying to get life insurance and I am having a problem because of the tests Krantz ordered. Scam!
I get it. Doctor's, like people, have bad days. Went to see Dr. Krantz 1st time, last week. Never made it. Despite getting there almost a 1/2 hour before my appointment time. Figured to fill out required forms, I was waiting 2 hours after. This thing of an assistant 1 1/2 in, not even saying Hello we need a urine sample, can you please fill this up. Instead it was""Here fill this up". Okay it is what it is. Keep waiting. 1/2 hour later I get the Doctor. And Well, he comes and says" Go in here".
I have been going to Dr. Krantz for 13 years now. He was recommended by a family member who also had bladder cancer and was treated by Dr. Krantz and very satisfied. He saved my life and my bladder from bladder cancer 13 years ago. He is always very thorough and makes sure I take the appropriate tests to maintain my healthy status. I highly recommend him. He's very knowledgeable and experienced in the field of Urology. I would definiately recommend him to family and friends.
Dr. Krantz takes his time to explain to you in words you can understand exactly what your going through and what your treatment options are! He makes you feel comfortable with a dry sense of humor that puts you at ease. His staff is wonderful, kind and considerate and they work together well as a team! All in all the experience of visiting his office was a good one...the only complaint I have is that they should have a better choice of magazines in the waiting room! LOL!! Stan Gillett
Terrbile doctor. Did a procedure on me and never came to speak to me after procedure. I had three days of pain and no return phone call from doctor. Ended up in the hospital for three days and Dr Krantz never came to see me or speak to me, his partner had too correct the surgery. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!! Went to a specialist in NYC after the surgery and was told procedure should have never been done. Please, I normally do not write reviews, but do not want anyone to go thru what I did
