My husband and I both had appointments one day apart. When I was seen Dr. Macbeth did not give me the time of day. He palpated my knee said the MRI showed a tear in my meniscus and surgery was needed. When my husband went in Dr. Macbeth pulled up his MRI went over all the images and explained in detail what was going on with his knee. I scheduled surgery (with reservations) because I was in pain. Macbeth is a hack!!
My initial visit with Dr. Macbeth was excellent beginning with checking in. My wait was extremely short before being called in for an xray. Again, the wait was short before seeing Dr. Macbeth. He explained everything thoroughly. I was given a painless injection for Bursitis and physical therapy will be arranged. I highly recommend using Dr. Macbeth for orthopedic issues within his scope of expertise. Marcia
FIT TO BE TIED!!! While in room Dr has to go to hospital to ck out a hip injury. 1 1/2 hrs later he walks in, doesn't introduce himself or apologize, looks at my foot says "Nothing broken". Yes, we know that due to the X-rays taken 9 days ago. "You've got a very severe sprain-will take 6-8 weeks to get better. On your way out set another appointment for a follow up." My reply,"No, we won't be back." So-no surgery needed-that's good news!!!
Dr Macbeth did both of my knee replacements. 1st one last year, and 2nd one recently. He did an excellent job on both and I would highly recommend him. However, since moving into the new office the way patients are handled is quite different. On each appt, they come out and call 5 or 6 patients at a time, herd them to the exam rooms and say you go in this room, you go in this room, you in this room and so on. Very unprofessional in my opinion.
