It was a few years ago. I had a procedure on my ear and it started bleeding in the middle of the night and wouldn't stop. Dr. Nelson was the on call Dr. She cleaned and tightly wrapped my ear. It was so tight I had concerns of it losing circulation.She said it would be fine and to leave it on until Monday(2 days later, when my Dr. that preformed the procedure would be in) It was so tight I couldn't eat or sleep. Dr Gill has been there with me every step of the way,with my tonsillar access , I am very thankful and grateful for his professionalism and patience. Amazing I made an appointment as a new patient. I showed up for the appointment and they told me he did not work in this office on Wednesdays and they wanted to just place me with a different doctor that I knew nothing about. So, I just left.
Went to Dr. Alvarez years ago for a sinus problem, had the surgery and had to keep going back and all I got was a prescription for antibiotics. Said I had polyps that could be removed in the office which never transpired. Never asked me to return for follow ups, had to make the decision myself. Had surgery last Tuesday by the best ENT, quite the opposite of Dr. Alvarez . Would not recommend.
I’ve had good experiences with Dr Alvarez. He recommended that I get the balloon sinuplasty and it made a huge change in my quality of life.
He is the very worst ENT I have ever had. He was reckless with my health and I sincerely urge you to go ANYWHERE ELSE. Honestly with the mistakes this man has made- he should lose his license.
I had an appointment for my 9 year old daughter sleep study results and Dr. Alvarez wouldn't see me because he said that I didn't bring my daughter in with me. I asked Dr. Ronald Alvarez why do my daughter need to come in if I'm just getting her results and Dr. Alvarez couldn't give me a straight answer. No one from the office communicated to me that my nine year old daughter needed to be present to get her test results. Dr. Nelson-Charles is a five star doctor! Her provided service is exceptional, professional & exemplary. The best ENT Dr in Georgia.
Dr Alvarez was rude and kept saying "I don't know" when asked questions about cpap. He was not willing to offer suggestions for getting a cpap quickly and treated us like we were trash. I do NOT recommend him.
